Don’t just take it from us

I have a mobile contract with UW and they let me know about a great deal to save money by changing to their breakdown policy that covers my heating system, electricity and drains on one policy. It was easy to change to the UW policy as well.

I love being able to use my Cashback card everywhere I go and then seeing the savings off my bill at the end of every month. As a family we check where we get extra savings as we know it benefits us. The simplicity of one bill for all our services helps us to manage our outgoings every month and to do our normal shopping and get further discounts - nothing beats that.

Generally, I find UW people quite responsive to my enquiries. I believe we are getting quite a good deal across the board, but customer service levels are important to customer loyalty.

Customer service is great when you reach the right person. She has a South African accent by the way, and she's excellent.

A competitive price for electricity, but a bit lacking on customer service. I finally agreed to having a smart meter. It's Economy 7 times differ from my old meter, but I had to watch the meter turning over to find them as UW either couldn't or wouldn't answer my email and WhatsApp requests.

Overall I’ve had a good experience with UW. I like paying for energy broadband and mobile in one payment and spreading it out over the year in one direct debit. Prices have been good. I’ve been with them for years. Customer service has been good however lately it’s become harder to get through when I’ve rung. 20 + mins waiting and with energy going up I feel unsettled. Recently they gave a free upgrade to full fibre - I haven’t noticed a difference though and there was some hassle to do with the City Fibre engineers leaving me without internet. UW sent me the right cable the next day a Saturday - that was good. I don’t want to have to leave UW so I hope their prices remain competitive and customer service stays a priority.

On the whole my experience of up dating to Fibre 150 went well except for A) hadn’t expected my router with all the flashing lights to be move from my hallway to my sitting room, not ideal. B) when I asked if everything was working well was assured it was, however I was left with a land line that didn’t work, but was helped in phone call to your staff on how to put that right, I believe the first reason quoted was that that”my landline was not registered” strange since it has been part of the package supplied by you.

I rang in as our gas and electric contract was coming to an end. The lady was so helpful explaining all of the options which she took me through. The new plan was slightly more expensive but as we were in credit on both the gas and electric we ended paying less than we do now.

Utility Warehouse has always given me a affordable/comfortable monthly price to pay for my Utilities. I trust UW. Bit late in advising fixed energy tariff ending but easy to reorder
